IN MY PINK MOOD !!

Already entering February, after January disappeared just like that...
I wonder if you felt the same , ...the days are just running, one
after the other .

This collaged hanger was created for a dear friend, I have known
for many, many years.
She has the most beautiful blog ,showing her wonderful
creations - I`m sure many of you, know her, : Jillayne  A Fine Seam http://quiltingfabrications.blogspot.dk/
It is so lovely, to go on being in contact, with old blogging friends.

This amateur embroidery, is surely not to compare,
with Jillaynes stunning creations, but I love to
have a needle in my hands, some evenings.

And a spring card, to just remember how
wonderful it will be, when it is here, -maybe late
next months !!
I used Tim Holz flower die, and word,- leaves, and buttons
are other companies , -and old tea dyed laces, to create
the card, onto handmade paper.

I hope your week is good, hope you enjoy it,
and hope you are all doing good !!

Hugs and love
Dorthe

I do feel like January just rushed on by us. This lace collage is gorgeous and so beautiful for Jillayne. I was lucky enough to meet her and her husband. Jillayne is extremely talented and such a sweet soul. Dorthe Dear you are amazing with your Works of HeArt. Fabulous February to you...

Dorthe,
What an exquisite banner and most beautiful card! You always inspire me so! Funny thing, I too have been in the pink mood as well! As I turned through my journal pages the other night, I thought, hmmm, maybe I should try another color! heehee
May i ask you, how you dye your laces with old tea? I have been saving my tea leaves and just have not jumped into it as of yet!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work, and thank you so much for your loving comments and friendship, they mean the world to me! xo

Thinking of Spring here too Dorthe. What a sweet hanger! I know that feeling of just wanting to stitch something. I came across a hanger recently that I had started months ago. Again you have inspired me to create. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Dorthe, what a beautiful hanging collage card. Jillayne will just love it. She is very talented as you are and this work is stunning. Yes, Jillayne's blog is beautiful and she shares incredible designs. I love to stitch too and have something in my lap most evenings.
Yes, January went by so fast and here we are into February. Looking forward to springtime and warmer weather.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Wishing you a wonderful weekend dear friend. Blessings always. xo

Dorthe, your hanger is just beautiful! I love the shades of pink, stitching, and the sweet image. What a precious gift you have created! January did pass quickly, but the dark gloom was terrible here in Michigan. Only a day or two of sunshine that whole month if that! :( Here we are, on the #4th day of February and the 4th day of ALL SUNSHINE! I am SO HAPPY! :-)

So, so pretty in pink - both the hanging and the card. A wonderful gift for your friend, and such lovely work with the die-cuts for the card.
